This instructional/generative writing workshop is open to all BIPOC storytellers. In Freelance Writing 101: How to Pitch & Submit Narrative Nonfiction you will learn how to identify stories of interest, draft compelling pitches, submit those pitches to appropriate publications, correspond with editors, and ultimately submit your own piece. In addition to receiving instruction, you will generate writing. All workshop attendees will draft at least one pitch of their own.

Skill Level: All writing skill levels are welcome, from novice to established writers

Ages: Adult (18+)

When: Saturday, January 8, 2021 at 11:00 am – 3:00 pm EST

Tuition: Traditionally, this program’s tuition is $50. However, we are now offering a donation-based tuition to support community needs at this time.
