Writing Workshops
Roots. Wounds. Words. offers literary arts workshops that center the nonfiction, fiction, poetry, playwriting, and screenwriting of BIPOC storytellers. Our workshops are for storytellers of all generations and writing levels—from those who have never considered writing their own narratives to those who are widely-published.
Annual Writers’ Retreat
The Roots. Wounds. Words. Writers’ Retreat is a sacred space for BIPOC storytellers to gain the tools, support and education necessary to grow their literary arts careers.
Master of Craft Talk Series
Led by some of today’s most widely-acclaimed storytellers, the RWW Masters of Craft Talk Series provides BIPOC storytellers with opportunities to deepen their understanding of literary craft across creative nonfiction, fiction, journalism, and poetry.
RWW on the Outside
Roots. Wounds. Words. from the Outside is a partnership with criminal justice community supervision organizations to engage individuals who are justice-involved through literary arts programming.
